Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak 'WOZ' and Vintage-Applestore Founder Sebastian Buehler visiting the President of Serbia in Belgrade

How did we get here? And how did I get Steve Wozniak a Serbian Passport?
Let's start with me, a Vintage Computer Enthusiast who loves the history and see behind the groundbreaking progress it takes to get where we are today. With iPhones and the possibility to communicate with our friend on the other side of our planet.

The Serbian story started with Woz and me having a cup of Coca Cola somewhere in Poland. Where he invited me to one of his speeches. During our Coke Date and two hours of interesting Apple stories he tells me about his passion to collect Passports and his dream to own a European Passport.
Thats Woz. Having out of the norm hobbies, a creative mind not many people have.

Few days went by, when I got the idea to ask some of my Serbian contacts if we could work something out for Woz. Since I played professional Tennis, a friend of mine happened to be one of the best Serbian Tennisplayers and also a good friend of the Serbian President. After a few (many) phone calls and meetings, I finally got the message from the President, Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic: "We would love to invite Mr. Wozniak to Serbia and grant him a Passport and Citizenship".
I immediately wrote Woz to set up a date, and before you know it, Steve and I got invited to Belgrade and had a meeting with the Minister of Finance, Prime Minister and President. They told us about the goal of Serbia to become one of the Technology Hubs of Europe, and big investments in Education, Innovation and of course Entrepreneurship.

We had a great time and shortly after getting through all the legal process, Steve got his Serbian Passport in the Mail. He is now a Serbian citizen, and Serbia is proud to name on of the most important Entrepreneurs of our lifetime, one of theirs.
